Much love my friends!
Welcome back to day 3 of the Lil Inker June Release Blog Hop!! You should have arrive here from Joy Taylor’s lovely blog! My projects today use the new Warm Welcome Stamp and Die Set. How adorable are these stamps and dies? I don’t know about you, but birds, wreaths, and flowers get me every time. I cut the square in the center using the new Fringe Scalloped Square Dies. The separate Welcome Die is also a perfect addition to this set. I love word dies. <3
I kept my next card super simple and neat. I went with a single color combo to accent the floral cascade with flowers from Warm Welcome and popped the Welcome Die up with multiple layers of the cut.
I finished the card off with a few (hard to see in the pic) rain stones.
Alrighty folks!! Today’s your last day to enter to win a $15 credit to the Lil Inker Store and all you have to do is leave comments! The more you leave along the way, the better your chances are to win!
Your next stop is the sweet Jen Carter’s blog! Thanks for stopping by! Much love!
Hey friends! I’m back to Maggie Holmes Open Book Collection (shocker!!) and I’m going gold and polka dots today. I made a so sweet handmade card with the sentiment sticker from the collection. This gorgeous gold wreath has long been staring at me in it’s package but I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted to use it. I needed a relatively flat card recently and I thought this was the perfect embellishment to give depth, character, and beauty to a flat card. This card is made entirely out of Open Book products… man I adore this collection!
I’m sure I’ll be bringing back more Maggie Holmes cards soon. I can’t stay away. 🙂 Have a great week!
Hey there! Today’s card is using a fun technique of masking a circle and stamping around it to create a wreath. Check it out:
I used the Papertrey Ink Rosie Posie stamp set and a few different ink colors to stamp the flowers and leaves around the circle mask making sure to overlap a little to create a very distinct line. Once the circle is removed I added the sentiment on top (Wet Paint die from PTI that I layered multiple times to create a chipboard effect).
I entered this card into the FUSION Card Challenge using both the sketch and the photo as inspiration.
Be sure to check out the other entries as well as the design team’s take on the challenge! Happy crafting 🙂
