It’s Day 2 of Papertrey Ink’s Release Week Countdown! We have some really great things in store for you so make sure you stop by the Papertrey Team Blog to see it all! 😉
Today we are introducing Betsy Veldman’s latest masterpiece, Brushed Birds along with January’s Year of Psalms.
This is definitely one of the most well known and popular scripture verses and rightfully so. It’s so beautiful and incites an incredible amount of empowerment and hope. On this card I paired it with two of the sweet brushed birds in an array of blue-greens and purples with the sentiment standing out in a nice True Black.
Next we are introducing Lizzie Jones’ Warm Regards along with the latest in the Keep it Simple & Ways to Say series.
The dogwood flowers are unique and have a simple elegance that anyone can love. They pair really beautifully with the missing you and sorry sentiments from the latter two sets.
Be sure to check us out all week for more info on the upcoming January release which is live on the Papertrey web site January 15th at 10PM ET.
And join Lizzie, Julie and I on our FB Release Party Live right before on the 15th at 9PM ET. Much love all!
Hello friends! Today is Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown! How did you like yesterday’s products/projects? Amazing right?! Let’s get on to today…
Starting off with You Have My Heart by Heather Nichols. This Valentine’s themed set is sure to be an instant favorite. The stamps give you everything you need for a beautiful card and the Envelope Die is the icing on the cake when making little Valentine’s.
I created this envelope using the new Bitty Big in Soft Stone.
My second project is showcasing Perfect Fit by Lizzie Jones and Ways To Say: I Love You from Heather Nichols.
I created these two clean and simple cards using the stamps and die from Perfect Fit. The card on the left is a one layer, completely flat card, and the one on the right is flat with the exception of the center puzzle piece being popped up.

Hey hey hey!! Welcome back!! Today I am focusing on the Flower Power stamp and die set along with the new Window Works die collection.
Starting things off with all the Flower Power goodness!! I stamped my flowers on kraft cardstock and then colored over top of them with colored pencils. I masked off the edge of one side of the flowers so I could stamp my sentiment along a straight line.
And for something completely random that I’ve never done before… I outlined my stamped images in black and then used white to accent them a bit. Can’t tell you why, just thought I’d try it out! haha
And finally these Window Works dies… THEY ARE THE COOLEST!!! Now I love a good frame/window/design detail die so these are like gold to me. I used the circular one for this card and the Keep It Simple: Congratulations sentiment in the background for a bold pop of dark.
The paper is the new Bitty Big: Aqua Mist (all together now… YAYYYYYYYYY BITTY BIG AQUA MIST!!!!) and the floral group is from a past Make It Market Kit: Don’t Forget to Write. I accented the card with seam binding and a bit of Smokey Shadow Twill Tape.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Papertrey Blog for everyone else’s projects!
Allllll right ya’ll!!! Did you catch last night’s Release Party Live?? Did you place your order? Are you ready for even MORE inspiration on how to use your new goodies?! Well let’s get to it then!
Do you ever have a sentiment set where you think “I just want to use them all!” Well that’s sort of what happened here. 🙂 I REALLY wanted to stamp out “tis the season” “peace on earth” and “christmas wishes” so I thought by adding the larger “merry christmas” at the bottom it would be a fun sentiment all together!!
I used pattern papers from the Wonderland Kit as well as some of the Big Bitty Pure Poppy cardstock for the background. Since that added a ton of interest in itself, I chose to keep the embellishments to a minimum.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Catch us all week long with more inspiration from this month’s release for you all!
