Happppppppppy hopping ya’ll!! Are you joining along in today’s challenge? It happens to be one of my favorites each year Papertrey does it. πŸ™‚ AND we have some fun Easter goodies to share with you today!! Starting with the Big Egg Die, Bunny Blessings, and Egg Stripes.

I created an ombre 3d egg using different colored purple cardstocks and stamped each one differently. I sewed them together using black and white twine and used a Delicate Detail die to accent the top and bottom. It sort of reminded me of one of those really ornate eggs you see at Easter time. πŸ™‚

My next project is showcasing a brand new die set from Lizzie Jones, Bold Borders: Blooming, as well as our very first set from new Product Designer, Jennifer Campbell.

I started by layering two of the border dies off set in Stormy Sea and Dark Indigo. The sentiment is embossed in black on polka dotted vellum and attached to the card using a mini clothespin.

The card is accented with some white thread and seam binding. πŸ™‚

Helllllloooooooo my dears! I have what I believe is the cutest pocket tag to share with you today! I made this sweet little thing for my babygirl. She LOVES making little envelopes and “mailboxes” and leaving special drawings and notes for each other. So I put together this tag and added a little pocket to it, to hold a secret note for her.

I started with the Tribal Chic Pattern Papers and one of the Anytime Tag 2 Dies and cut out 2 of them. I sliced one in half and adhered it to a couple pieces of kraft cardstock that are acting as accordion buffers between my two tags. once I was ready to put them together, I added little mini staples as extra embellishments. The sentiment at the top is from the Greetings and Salutations stamp set. (which is on sale right now!!)

Inside the handmade pocket I slipped a little piece of kraft cardstock that I stamped with hearts and a little mini sentiment. Just something extra and fun for her.

Cute right???! You may have noticed my stamping slip up on one of the hearts!! Luckily my sweet daughter is gracious in my stamping mistakes haha. Sometimes, I just need to let the imperfections go!! πŸ™‚

Much love to all of you this weekend! I am grateful for you all! <3

Save

Hi there! I’m back with two cards that I made today focusing on condolences. I had to make these at the same time and decided to keep them similar.

image

For the first one, I embossed the sentiment in silver and used some Studio Calico pattern paper (my favorite ones!!) layered underneath the die cut frame. I embellished with a white butterfly and some gems from a past SC card kit.

For this second card I switched out the pattern paper, used different colored gems, and stamped the sentiment in smokey gray.

Making subtle changes but keeping the design the same, made these cards very quick and easy to create. The only plus side in making condolence cards for me, is hoping they put a smile on someone’s face.

Hoping you all have a WONDERFUL day!
