Hello again and welcome!! I wanted to start this post out by saying a massive thank you to all of you. It’s been a whirlwind of a start with Papertrey and really wonderful. You have all been so kind and supportive and I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am! Alrighty… let’s get on to today then… 2015’s set You’ve Been Framed: Hexagon:

You've Been Framed: Hexagon Mini Stamp SetPapertrey Ink - You've Been Framed: Hexagon Die

This set is so much fun to work with. The way the die cuts a thin outline allows for so many opportunities to mix and match pieces and create different designs. I also adore how the shape of the hexagon can be transformed into a really masculine design very easily or a very feminine design as well.

My first card is created by repeatedly stamping flowers on my card base and then layering the thin Hexagon frame on top. I kept the colors light and neutral for an airy feel.

My second card used Polka Dot Basics on Aqua Mist cardstock to create a pattern paper effect for the top of the Hexagon. I stamped the inside of the Hexagon in Soft Stone for a subtle texture and accented the entire card with a bit of grey paint splatters.

Good morning loves! Today I have a fun little thank you card for you using the Color My World and Thanks Simple Sentiments stamp sets from Honey Bee Stamps. I stamped the flowers and colored them in around the outside of a Side Stitched Rectangle from Lil Inker Designs with the large “thank you” stamped in bold black in the center. I added the layer of green cardstock to accent the color pops of the flowers and leaves, and then softened the card with a white dry embossed panel. I finished it off with a kraft card base, a twine wrap, and a mini clothespin for a relaxed vibe.

Hello dear blogland friends! I put together a couple floral cascade thank you cards the other day and I adore them oh so much. I whipped out the lovely Papertrey Ink Rosie Posie stamp set and used a thank you sentiment from an Ali Edwards set from a while back. I tried to keep the floral stamping simple and flat to bring a bit more attention to the sentiment and finished the cards off with a little twine bow.

Here is the second version using kraft cardstock and blue flowers. I added a sweet mini flower stamp to this one as well.

Hey friends! Last time we celebrated a birthday I struggled with making a mountain of thank you cards (because I don’t like buying them when I can make them myself!!). I wanted to make a simple thank you card that was easy to duplicate so I could easily bang out 20 of them, but still be beautiful and make someone smile. So this is what I came up with! It’s a simple card with a little bit of stamping and a sweet Ali Edwards handwritten script stamp. It was basic enough to be able to make a lot of them quickly, but still be lovely to convey how grateful I am to the recipient.

What do you do when you have a lot of thank you’s to give? Do you make them yourself or buy a set from a store?

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great week!

Hello everyone! The card I have for you today was inspired (and created with) a Project Life wood veneer card. This adorable chevron wood veneer piece came in one of Studio Calico’s kits and I instantly fell in love. I used white Mr. Huey’s to wash out the color a bit, but it warped when it got wet so I put it underneath a few super heavy books overnight to even it back out.

I used Papertrey Ink’s Delicate Details & Embellished Elegance dies to create the leaves and the sentiment piece in the center. The idea for this card was to really keep it light and white.
