Hey all! I’m up for a featured post and I am alllllllllll about the ice cream today! 😉
How adorable is this set, you guys?! I’m dying over here. I knew right away I wanted to make a monster of an ice cream cone (inspired by the giant eyes of my children at our local creamery) and I wanted as many flavors/colors as possible on my cone!
And this card of course had to use the “here’s the scoop” sentiment and I embossed it in black to make it pop on top of all the colors.
And finally, I popped that whole panel up on top of the latest gorgeous bold borders dies. These border dies are so much fun and really take your card up a notch.
My second card really shows off the Bold Borders die and you can see exactly why it’s called “Shine.” I used Vintage Jadeite cardstock (which reminds me of a sorbet color).
The sentiment is an offset in Raspberry Fizz and Hawaiian.
And finally this ice cream cone was created using the faux sprinkles from the previously released Shakers and Sprinkles set (still available! click link below!). I covered the whole scoop in the sprinkles and I LOVE how it turned out! 🙂
And last but not least I used the Big Ice Cream Cone die to create this modern ice cream card.
I created the black watercolor stripes for a bold background and to accent the sentiment.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! We will see you all the rest of this week for more fun new product introductions!

Hey friends! So I made this card with the Zen Florals stamp set and created a little wreath out of a few of the stamps in black. I fussy cut the wreath out and centered it on top of my Horizontal Stripes Die Cut. I added a few stamps along the top left and bottom right edges and made the sentiment flag using the Not Too Shabby stamp set. A mini clothespin and some gold string added a few finishing touches!
This Zen Floral set is available tomorrow morning for sale so be sure to check it out!! 🙂
In case you get lost, here is the blog hop order:
Much love my dearies!
Oh my goodness you guys. This floral print in the Felicity Jane Susie kits is unreal. It’s like my love for girly flowers and colors just exploded onto paper!! Isn’t it amazing?! I’m paper fangirling over here hang on….. Ok. I’m cool. 😀 When I put together this Felicity Jane Dream Big card, I loved the contrast of the bold black and white stripes with the floral so I knew this was definitely a combination I wanted to put together. I added some light seam binding wrapped around the back for a fun soft feel as well.
I also tried to give it many popped up layers for dimension and it turned out just right. Can’t wait to show you the other things I made with this kit!! Happy Thursday ya’ll! 🙂
Hello dears! Happy early Thanksgiving! I have been going through birthday cards like crazy lately so I decided to make myself a birthday wishes card set so I could quickly grab one every time I needed a last minute birthday card. I used a stamp from a $5 mini Papertrey Ink stamp set, a bunch of floral ephemera from Maggie Holmes Open Book Collection, and pattern paper from her collection as well.
I switched up one of the cards with a Delicate Details die cut from PTI, a border die from Sizzix, & the Maggie Holmes Confetti leaf dies.
Isn’t all the glitter fun?! I should probably make a more masculine birthday card wishes set too… 😉 Much love friends!
Hello, hello! Can you believe we are already at the end of August?? I always feel like August is one of the fastest months to fly by because of the newly starting school year (here in Arizona our school year starts the first week of August). So today I have a fun summery card to finish out the month. I am using regular ephemera, floral ephemera, and pattern paper from Maggie Holmes Open Book collection as well as a hello stamp from Papertrey Ink’s Wet Paint stamp set. The twine wrapped around the top is from a Studio Calico add-on kit.
Doesn’t the top kind of remind you of a fun summer hippie headband??
Hoping you all have a great week and a fresh start in September! Cross your fingers for cooler weather, friends. Who’s ready for fall?!
