by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink

Welcome to this month’s Papertrey Ink release!! We are listening hard to all of your suggestions/opinions and we are switching things back to a version of the “old way” haha. Today I am featuring the brand new sentiment stamp set, Little Lift Me Ups as well as the new background stamp, Background Basics: Birch.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink

My first project showcases the entire background stamp being used as a backdrop for my card. The sentiment is front and center paneled on layers of cardstock and the focal point in addition to the sentiment is the braided and knotted natural twine.

My second project is this sweet little tag! I used Soft Stone cardstock for the background and Smokey Shadow for the birch stamp. I cut and trimmed True Black and Smokey Shadow cardstock to line the top of the tag and cut up the sentiment for added interest.

The ribbon finishes the tag off – I used Aqua Mist and Smokey Shadow Twill Tape Ribbon.

And my final project adds a bit of flowery fun! I started by embossing the two outer dies from the new Mix & Mat: Plaid collection and taping off the inside. The inside is then stamped with the Birch Background stamp and removed.

I used the sweet bunch of pre-printed flowers from the Bloom & Grow mini kit and wrapped it all up in a bit of rustic twine!

Hey friends! It’s Day 4 of the Neat and Tangled November Release Week! Today I have a sweet project for you today along a similar theme as yesterdays. πŸ˜‰

by Stephanie Gold for Neat and Tangled Warm Winters Joyful Sentiments

So you see now… I continued on with the black and gold color scheme for this card and I’m OBSESSED. This is the new Warm Winters Scene Die and it’s so dang cute. I cut the entire piece from black cardstock and popped out all of the pieces. Then I went through and made sure each house had all of the windows popped out as well and then I spray painted all the houses and trees gold.

I placed each piece back inside it’s original hole when mounting it to the card front. I love the contrast. πŸ™‚ And then some twine and a timeless sentiment from Joyful Sentiments finishes the card off.

Welcome to day three of November Release Week from Neat and Tangled!! I am so excited to show you my project for today! πŸ™‚

by Stephanie Gold for Neat and Tangled Radiating Star Stencil Joyful Sentiments

First of all, the sentiments in the new Joyful Sentiments set are BEAUTIFUL. I’m obsessed with them all. For this card I used the simple and elegant, “joyful and triumphant” with some accent crosses in the background.

And now for this incredible focal point. This was created with the new Radiating Star Stencil which I first used directly on cardstock with a simple Texture Paste. Once dry, I spray painted it in Metallic Gold and then trimmed it down to size. Didn’t it turn out gorgeous?? I’m over the moon with how it turned out. πŸ™‚

Welcome to ambassador week at Papertrey Ink! Today is the Travelers Journal focus and we are all about adding Monthly Moments products into our journals!

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Travelers Journal December Mini Album

My scheme for this album is kraft, black, and red, with hints of white. I used paint splatter to keep the vibe a little artsy without going too overboard for the look I wanted.

These gorgeous die cuts are from the new Travelers Journal: December sets and they are a MUST HAVE for december documenters!

The Moments Inked: Day by Day Lists stamp set also helped me create a relaxed album guide.

The giant Journal Card 6 die is from the Monthly Moments Collection. For those of you who haven’t looked into the MM collections yet, do yourself a favor and take a peek because they are the perfect complement to the Travelers Journals!! For this layout, I die cut it from kraft cardstock and stamped the “believe in magic” sentiment repeatedly to create a line at the bottom. I finished it off with an oversized white protection ring and black and white twine.

My next layout features the Monthly Moments Instant Photo 1 die. Now I use this die for everything but it’s never been more useful than when creating an album. The small size of the die cuts is perfect for these Travelers Journals and give you just enough space to journal at the bottom and add a decent size photo in the frame. A little wrap of twine on one side and it’s done! πŸ™‚

Welcome to day 2 of November Release Week from Neat and Tangled!! Today we are focusing on a DARLING stamp set with some sweet little kiddos all dressed up. πŸ™‚

by stephanie gold for neat and tangled christmas card november 2017

These Christmas cuties have one more friend as well who I didn’t end up fitting on the card. I decided to pop the friends up as the focal point for my card and leave the sentiment below, divided by red and white twine.
