Hey all! It’s the last day of Papertrey Ink’s release and we have some real beauties to share with you today!! We have 3 beautiful stamp sets by a brand new designer for Papertrey and goodness I am in love!
Starting off with Circle of Love and Vintage Type! I paired these two together with a white on white and a hint of bright color vibe. I used Rustic White for my white cardstock this time and it gives it an even more vintage feel.
I chose Tropical Teal, Limeade Ice, and Hibiscus Burst for my main colors and Smokey Shadow was my neutral.
My next card showcases Together Forever Blooms from the same new designer for Papertrey Ink.
I went with a more muted watercolor feel for this card. The two large flowers are stamped using Melon Berry and Lemon Tart with a spritz of water before pressing. The leaves are created by mixing Limeade Ice and Lemon Tart with a spritz of water as well. The sentiment in bold black is tied in with the black paint splatters and the card is finished off with Natural Twine wrapped around two corners.
I truly hope you all have enjoyed this month’s release. It was amazing and so much fun to put together! Love to you all.
Today is all about the Glorious Globes and I have three fun cards to show you today! Let’s dive in with the first card which started out as a masculine card and ended up being uber feminine!
Once I cut out the Scallop Stacker dies in Weathervane and Smokey Shadow I immediately switched my focus from creating a men’s card to more of a pink Valentine’s card. I LOVE how it turned out. The flowers in this card are from the SAF Community Garden set and I thought they accented the adorable love globe perfectly.
A little Raspberry Fizz Bitty Big and twine finish off this cute little number and may have sent it into my January 2019 release Hall of Fame… we all pick favorite cards we make from time to time… right?!
My next card is a fun green and textured project.
I used a Spring Moss Bitty Big behind a white Shape Shifters die as the backdrop for this card, giving it immediate texture.
The globe takes front and center this time atop books from the original Globes set. I adore the map image on this globe. So traditional and precise.
Twine is the perfect finish for this card, giving it a down to earth taste.
And finally I can’t go a release without an all white card! (You know me.) For this one I overlayed the new Bold Borders in white on white and accented it with black paint drops.
I kept the love globe simple and used the “you” from the Bold Borders to finish off the sentiment so it reads “love you.”
Thank you so very much for perusing my blog today. I think you will all be super excited to see what’s being released tomorrow 😉 Much love fam!
Welcome to this week’s edition of Throwback Thursday with Papertrey Ink! Today, Betsy, Melissa Phillips and I are revising the Counting My Blessings stamps and die set.
I used this color scheme as inspiration for my card, coordinating the Papertrey colors: Royal Velvet, Amethyst Allure, Scarlett Jewel, Summer Sunrise and Harvest Gold. Obviously the colors aren’t a complete match but they are similar enough to where the color scheme still works. If you are ever in need of some color inspiration, don’t be shy to search them up on Pinterest!! There are so many out there that are sure to lend some spark for your imagination.
I used the colors on the border from Seasonal Borders: Autumn and coordinated the sentiments above and below (from Counting My Blessings).
I kept my background relatively light by cutting the Stitched Cover Plate from Rustic White card stock and layering it atop Bitty Big: Kraft. All together I think it turned out just lovely and festive.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I will see you soon with this month’s new release!! 😉
Hey all! Today we have Winter Window by Lizzie Jones, as well as Say it Simply: Merry & Bright and Blooming Amaryllis by Dawn McVey.
Starting off with Winter Window, Lizzie did such an incredible job designing this set. There are so many options for making the window festive, warm and inviting, and even nice and chilly!
And a little scenery for looking out the window? She really thought of everything.
Dawn has some truly beautiful new florals out this month that you will see in a variety of colors from the design team. When combined with this lovely holiday sentiment, you are sure to have a quick yet impressive card on your hands.
Welcome to day 2 of Papertrey Ink’s October release!! Today’s products are some of my favorite series that are released each month and I hope I show you why!
Starting off with Corner Adorner: October which has quickly become one of my all time favorite series. This month has a beautiful bow with bells and the sweet and simple “Deck the halls” sentiment.
I created a block in the background of my card using the Sentiment Staples set. The card is finished off with a few black paint splatters.
Warm and Fuzzy is the sweet and cozy stamp set that’s out this month and it comes with many options for different socks and mittens you can put together. I paired mine with the embossing die from Betsy’s Shape Shifters Square 3 this month which I used to create an argyle pattern.
