Happy Neat & Tangled New Release Week!! Today is Day 2 and we are all about the You’re A Gem Stamp set. 🙂
I’m super into color this week and I had to make a rainbow of gemstones when I saw this set. I let the bright colors pop off the card with the heart shaped gems and accented them with slightly more muted shades of smaller gems underneath.
Be sure to check out the Neat & Tangled Blog for today’s full reveal of this set and leave a comment for your chance to win one of the You’re a Gem sets! 🙂
Remember all new products will go live for purchase in the shop Friday, July 7 at 8am EST! Have a wonderful day!!!

Hi all! Can you believe it is March already?? 2014 is really speeding by! March is my birthday month and my friends and family always make me feel so special. Their love is a constant reminder of how blessed and how thankful I am to have them in my life, so each Tuesday this month I will be sharing thank you cards with you. You can never have too many thank you cards, right?! 🙂
So let’s get to it! >>
For this card I made a little heart shaped window that I popped up with dimensional adhesive. I added a couple other hearts in the center and used the “thanks” arrow sentiment to shoot through them. I stamped “from the bottom of my heart” at the bottom and added some fun gold thread with a mini clothespin (found a pack of these in the dollar section at Target – whoop! whoop!) to add a little extra shine.
This second one has a very CAS (clean and simple) feel. I stamped the sentiment with a smokey gray ink and colored in the center with some pencils. I backed the rectangle up with a blue toned pattern paper and adhered it to the card base with dimensional adhesive. Finished the card off with some sequins from Studio Calico and left this card very simple. 🙂
So there you have a couple thank you’s, both with very different feels. The stamp set I used for sentiments in both cards is Many Thanks by Mama Elephant (linked below) and I am obsessed!! There are so many options with this stamp set. I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot of it this month. 😉 Until next time!!
