I used Texture Paste to create the white embossed diamond background on the card and featured bright colors to create the birthday scene on top.

The flag I made was inspired by this pin HERE.

Papertrey Ink // Quoted & Quatrefoil Stencil/Tag

It’s Day 3 of the *new* Papertrey Ink release countdown and I have 2 more projects to share with you today!

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Quoted Living Longer Stencil Quatrefoil Tag Sale

Starting out with the newest in the Quoted series, we have Quoted: Living Longer. I thought this quote looked so gorgeous on it’s own, I decided to make it as much of the focal point as I could.

I began by giving it a background made with a heart “stencil” and stamping all of the miniature hearts that come with this set repeatedly in different colors until it filled the larger heart. The rest of the sentiment is stamped in Smokey Shadow and I popped the banner up for a little something extra.

Next we have the Tag Sale #11 die and the adorable stencils all in quatrefoil shapes! I used Texture Paste mixed with Tropical Teal Ink to create the background and used a vellum overlay to adhere my sentiment. The “Get Well Soon” sentiment is from the newest Ways To Say series.

Papertrey Ink // Quoted: A Little Bit More

Helloooooo! Today I have a card for you that focuses on the newest Quoted set: A Little Bit More. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this quote, it’s from the end of The Grinch by Dr. Suess. (Lots of Jim Carrey flashbacks are happening in my mind right now.)

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink quoted a little bit more wonderland trimmings

So I decided to show you a way to use only half of the sentiment on a clean and simple card. To add subtle interest I stamped “joyeux noel” repeatedly in Aqua Mist on a diagonal along with some Ocean Tides dotted lines (which are from the Quoted set). This gave the perfect backdrop for our big bold sentiment.

And finally for a little added Suess-iness… I made a funny little Whoville looking flower from one of the items in the Wonderland Trimmings Kit. I love that it kept the colors light but still gave the card some quirk. πŸ™‚

Thanks again for stopping by! I will see you back here again tomorrow for *double* the fun. πŸ™‚

Papertrey Ink // Quoted: Favorite Things

Hey friends! Another extra inspiration post for you today using the newest in the Quoted series… Favorite Things.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Quoted Favorite Things Big Bitty Scalloped Noted Christmas Card

I used the bitty side of the plaid Pure Poppy pattern paper as a background and added a couple of the ribbon stamps to the sides. The tag is actually made by die cutting the tag from the Tag Along Mini Kit, trimming it to be a bit shorter, and then rounding the bottom edges out. It’s the perfect way to get the perfect fit! πŸ˜‰

The teeny holly berry stamps may be my favorite part of this stamp set. I love them so much!!
