Hey guys!!! Welcome back for Day 2 of the Lil Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from the incredibly talented Karen Baker’s blog!! Today I am going all things TRIBAL! These stamps, dies, and papers are incredibly fun!! I had a blast just playing with them and had to calm myself down a bit on making ALL THE THINGS! Ha! Here we go!
This new paper pack is called Tribal Chic and it coordinates perfectly with the Tribal Chic Stamp Set. The “Love Ya” sentiment you see here is from the Tribal Chic Stamp Set as well and the “happy birthday” and “best wishes” sentiments are from the Vintage Label Sentiment Stamp Set. I made these tags using the Lil Inker Anytime Tags 2 Dies. How fun are these tribal papers?!
For this next card I used the new Duel Stitched Triangle Dies and stamped underneath with the Tribal Chic Stamps. I popped the card base up for added dimension and stamped the sentiment right on top.
I also used these triangle dies and tribal stamps to put together some garland and a cake topper!!
I love all things tribal so this is right up my alley!! 🙂
These next two cards went all in with the tribal theme. This Many Thanks card is one of my favorites. 🙂 I used a watercolor and ink mixing technique to get a bit of a grunge outcome. I finished off the card below with a bit of twine to add to the earthy tribal feel after stamping the pattern on an angle.
For my last card today I layered a few of the Tribal Chic Pattern Papers on an angle with dimensional adhesive and popped the sentiment up even higher! I added a bit of silver thread underneath for added texture to complete it.
So what do you guys think?? Are you loving this new release as much as I am?! Don’t forget, it’s live NOW and can be found here. Your next stop today is the lovely and beautiful Chrissy Larson’s blog! But be sure to leave a comment here first, because there is a $15 Lil Inker gift certificate up for grabs to one lucky commenter today! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!! Happy hopping!
Hello friends… 😉 I am just coming back from an amazing vacation back to nature and away from technology (well needed) and feeling refreshed! I already miss the trees and creeks but it’s always a good time to get back into the craft room. 🙂
I have a card for you today that I am slightly obsessed with. I finally caved and bought some of the Wet Paint sets from Papertrey Ink and they did NOT disappoint. I combined them with more of Maggie Holmes Open Book collection for a fun and girly card accented with large florals and gold, glittery leaves. I am one to give away most of the cards I make but I may be holding on to this little one for a while… it just makes me happy! 🙂
I hope you all have been enjoying your summers! I am looking forward to the school year starting in a week or so and hopefully having a little more time making cards. 🙂 Happy creating!
Hi all! Today I have a card that I made with the Beautiful Brushstrokes kit from Papertrey Ink! This card was inspired by PTI designer Danielle Flanders – I LOVE her style!! I don’t use tiny stamps very often but I was in love with these tiny 2-step flower/leaf stamps in this kit and decided to make my own simple pattern paper!
All I did was stamp the card base here and there with the stamps – you could do this with any stamp at all (not just tiny ones) and make the paper as busy or as simple as you want. I topped the paper with a large vellum banner and a chopped doily and adhered the stamped sentiment on top. I finished it off with some ombre hemp twine (also from the kit) and I was done!
Hope you all have a wonderfully crafty weekend! Yay for Fridays! 🙂
