Sentiment Staples: Thanksgiving + Frame It Out: Many Blessings

Welcome to Day 4! Who is loving the new products so far? Didn’t the Product Designers knock it out of the park? (As per usual… but I’m biased lol). Let’s keep the momentum going!

I have one card for you today showcasing the beautiful new set, Frame It Out: Many Blessings. I dry embossed the die from this set directly onto my card base and heat embossed over top using white embossing powder. The “blessings” sentiment is created using black embossing powder and the sweet mini sentiment is from Sentiment Staples: Thanksgiving.

I love how nice and simple this card turned out.

Tomorrow is Day 5 and you won’t want to miss it!!

Seasonal Borders + Shape Shifters + Words to Live By + Text & Texture

It’s day 3 of Papertrey Ink’s August release and today we have some lovely Autumn themed products for you. 🙂

Starting off I have a card featuring predominantly fall themed products, but I wanted to show you a way to use them a little bit different so you don’t feel like you only can use them one season per year!

I went with a monochromatic color scheme using greys and blacks for my leaves on the card base. The shape shifters is so beautiful, but I wanted to show it off in a way that doesn’t create a focal point so I left it all white and accented my sentiment with a big pop of color. And of course… a little twine to finish it off… you know me. 😉

The next Text and Texture from Betsy Veldman is, Leaves! She did such a beautiful job designing a background stamp that almost creates a rubbing feel. I used a couple different greens on my background and kept the front of my card nice and simple.

Thanks for stopping by! Much love all.

You Made My Day + Say It Simply + Glorious Globes + Scallop Stackers

Welcome back to Day 2 of Papertrey Ink’s August new release! My first project showcases one of the lovely new sets by Rebecca Luminarias, You Made My Day, along with the August edition of Lizzie Jones’ Glorious Globes series.

I repeat stamped the large “Grateful” sentiment in the background to add extra texture and used the adorable globe to be the focal point, as well as add to my background sentiment.

The Scallop Stacker small die cut sits atop a Simply Chartreuse card base and a rustic twine wrapped around the new Shape Shifters adds a bit of whimsy.

My second project today is a light and airy card that accents the beautiful dies from the new Say It Simply: Wishing You A Lovely Birthday, by Dawn McVey. The background was created using Text & Texture: Roses, and I strung some twine through the holes in the Scallop Stackers for a little fun.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow 😉

Papertrey Ink August Release // Scared Silly + Grins & Ghouls

Welcome to Papertrey Ink’s August New Release! Today we are all about the Halloween goodness! I have so much fun making little goodies for Halloween.

Our family just loves getting dressed up and spending time with friends each year. I always get to volunteer in my kid’s class parties and they loveeeeee trick or treating on the 31st! Today I have 2 fun little party favors to show you using brand new crafty goodies, as well as a spooky card 😉

First up is this classy krafty pillow box. You can stuff it with candy, trinkets, or anything small enough! This is actually one of my favorite previously released box dies. I use this sucker all. the. time.

I stamped the entire box with the “trick or treat” from the new A Bit More: Grins & Ghouls… the size of this sentiment is the BEST. I also stamped the ghost in Soft Stone as another subtle touch.

I kept the colors neutral for this project and loved pairing a couple of the You Deserve Flowers Scalloped Tags in Kraft an Black with a Bitty Big Soft Stone ghost.

This party favor was more geared toward kiddos. I used a bright contrast of celebratory colors in the Green Parakeet Cable Box, Amethyst Allure little monster, and Orange Zest accents.

I used the fun little legs from the monsters to make a creepy border around the outside of the box. I loved how it turned out! And these little monster dudes are so dang cute!! I’m obsessed.

For the tag I used the previously released Folded Tag Dies with the Bitty Big True Black.

And my last project is this adorably fun card! Grins & Ghouls is such a fun set and the sentiments come in the cutest font!

I used eyelets at the top of the card to attach some twine and ribbon and accented the card with both white and black paint splatters. The card base is Smokey Shadow which was the perfect contrast to the orange pumpkin in the center.

Throwback Thursday // Hooray Papertrey Ink

Hey all! Welcome back to another fun adventure with Papertrey Ink’s Throwback Thursdays! Today we are revisiting the Hooray stamp set.

by stephanie gold for papertrey ink throwback thursday hooray

I decided to manipulate the streamer stamps into fun swirls and stamp them around the top right corner.

By using a popped up deconstructed sentiment I added a little dimension onto the card. Even more dimension is added when popping the whole Rustic White panel up on top of some kraft.

To finish it off I tied a couple wraps of Rustic Jute Twine around the side and I was finished!

When’s the last time you pulled out Hooray? Are you inspired by today’s DT projects to whip it out and give it a fresh go? Thanks for stopping by! I’ll see you all next week!
