My first card has an inlaid ornament from Brilliant Baubles with a delicate border from the Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs die set.

The small sentiment at the bottom is actually from the Berry Wreaths set by Heather Nichols.

My next card is all about channeling a winter wonderland. ๐Ÿ™‚

I used off white corrugated cardstock to add texture and a strip of lace ribbon at the bottom to add a bit of tradition to the card.

Soft Stone paired with White and Silver make this a perfect snowy scene.

Hey friends! It’s Papertrey’s release week and this one is OH so festive!!!!! I am all about the new wine tag and the latest Keep It Simple: Warm Winter Wishes today.

My first project is a kraft wine bottle tag. I used corrugated cardstock to create this look – which I thought was soooo beautiful next to the white snowflakes. Never be afraid to use specialty textured papers to add a unique something extra! ๐Ÿ™‚

For my second project I trimmed the circle off the top of the wine bottle tag and created this adorable card. I layered a sentiment “flag” on the bottom and overlapped it with a vellum piece. The vellum is stitched to the top with black embroidery thread as a fun alternative to trying to hide adhesive when using vellum.

And my last project is a slightly more modern, but still quite traditional, bottle tag. The base is black corrugated cardstock for extra texture, and the front is one of the new Big Bitty papers in Simply Chartreuse. I die cut it on an angle to create the diagonal lines. I used more snowflake dies from the Silver White Winter set and used texture paste on 2 of them to add more of a lifelike snow feeling. And of course I added some glitter for more fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks so much for stopping by! For more information on these projects and to see more projects from the team, see Nichole’s Blog HERE.

Happy release week all! Much love.

Welcome to ambassador week at Papertrey Ink! Today is the Travelers Journal focus and we are all about the accessories!

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Travelers Journal Notebook

My first accessory is a spine decor wrap. I used tassels and eyelash trim to hide my spine and give the whole journal a happy look.

This is so easy to achieve and you can use anything you have on hand to make tassels, or simply wrap a ribbon and tie a bow.

Next I created a decorated paper clip to use as a place holder. Items like this can be placed vertically or horizontally and work better than tabs at times when you want the freedom to constantly change which page you’d like to bookmark (it’s for this reason they work great in planners too!).

Lastly is a homemade moveable pen holder. By adding a bit of ribbon to a binder clip with some strong adhesive, you can move and reuse this pen holder to whatever and whenever you’d like. Here I used a piece of denim ribbon scrap I had and attached it to a gold binder clip (I always burn the ribbon ends to prevent fraying too).

Today is all about the Tipped Top Die Collection and I swear it is more in style than ever!!

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Tipped Top Dies 2017

So technically Fall is on it’s way here, but I am in Arizona and it’s still FULL BLOWN Summer here (I’m currently melting). So I decided to keep up with the happy summer color themes and schemes today! ๐Ÿ™‚

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Tipped Top Dies 2017

The largest Tipped Top die is cut from Lemon Tart Cardstock and the “happy” was cut right through it. I stamped the “birthday” to add a bit of black and finish off the sentiment. And of course I can never resist the florals. ๐Ÿ™‚ The card is finished off with a wrap of Black and White Twine. It just all makes me happy!
