Hello loves! I have Maggie Holmes baby shower card for you today! This baby shower card might look a little different to you than most shower cards, but if you know me, you will recognize that this card is much more my style. I whipped out the good ole Open Book Collection for this one, including the dies and embossing folder. I accented the die cut frame with a little bit of gold washi tape and kept the whole card pretty simple and sweet.

I truly love the way it turned out. I made this a while ago actually for my sister-in-law’s friend who was having a baby at the time. Doesn’t the seam binding look so whimsical on top?? <insert heart-eyed emoji here> 😉

Have a great day my dears! Much love!

Hey friends! I’m back to Maggie Holmes Open Book Collection (shocker!!) and I’m going gold and polka dots today. I made a so sweet handmade card with the sentiment sticker from the collection. This gorgeous gold wreath has long been staring at me in it’s package but I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted to use it. I needed a relatively flat card recently and I thought this was the perfect embellishment to give depth, character, and beauty to a flat card. This card is made entirely out of Open Book products… man I adore this collection!

I’m sure I’ll be bringing back more Maggie Holmes cards soon. I can’t stay away. 🙂 Have a great week!

So these photos didn’t quite come out as I’d hoped, but the show must go on, right?! This floral happy birthday card is probably one of my favorites. I used a Silhouette cut file to make the delicate flower and layered it on top of 2 different flowers from the Maggie Holmes Open Book Floral Ephemera package. The “happy” is die cut from Papertrey Ink’s wet paint dies and layered 4 or 5 times to give it chipboard dimension. I also die cut the horizontal stripes cover plate to give the background a little bit more character, but kept it white to keep it simple.

I finished the card off with a few gold sequins. I find it so beautiful! Do you make cards that you just fawn over when you’re done? Making cards is just the best, haha. 🙂
