Hello again! Today is the last day of what I lovingly call Papertrey’s “Inspiration Week” and we are talking about the new Cloche Quarters: Winter Fillers stamp set in addition to the Pen & Ink: Christmas set.

For the Cloche Winter Fillers I immediately fell in love with these adorable ornaments!! They are soooooo cute!! I went with a blue/green color combination and stacked them high in a simple cloche case on a kraft background. Aren’t they beautiful?

Now onto the Pen & Ink: Christmas set which was majorly delayed (but Lizzie and I happened to snag a couple sample sets while we were filming the release party) so there probably won’t be much on these today. However, they are as beautiful as ever and I will forever buy anything that’s created in this font!! πŸ™‚

I went with a festive, layered look for this card. The sentiment is stamped on vellum and accented with some of the papers from the Wonderland kit. I still managed to keep things airy even with the bold red in the flowers and ribbon and I just love how it turned out!

And of course that birch paper will always have a place in my heart so I had to put it right on top. πŸ™‚

Thank you all so very much for joining me today!! I hope you have loved this release!! Please bear with us all as we continue to fine tune the release parties because they are going to be so much fun once we have… you know… sound and picture. πŸ˜‰

Much love friends! Until next time…

Eeeeeeeeek!!! I have been waiting for today! I finally get to show you this card that I made a week ago using Lizzie’s new Dash Away All set. Now I must preface this card with the fact that it’s officially my favorite from this release, which typically means its one of the least favorites from everyone else haha. I don’t know why, it just always works out that way! It cracks me up. So here it is:

So I went veryyyyy clean and simple with this design. I began by die cutting two deer, one from white cardstock and one from True Black cardstock – I wanted a very stark difference. Next I stamped the “believe” all over the white deer in black ink.

Once dry I adhered them together offset and used dimensional adhesive to place him on the white card base. And of course a little red bead on the nose for some added whimsy and a mini color pop. πŸ™‚ I’m obsessed.

To show off the gorgeousness (totally a word!) of the intricate snowflakes in the latest Mix & Mat dies, I die cut them from the birch pattern paper from the Wonderland kit and layered it on top of a panel of Smokey Shadow cardstock.

Using a sentiment from the newest Travelers Journal: December stamp set, I accented the top of the card with the “let it snow” saying – perfect alongside those snowflakes. πŸ™‚

Its Papertrey’s extra inspiration explosion week and today I am showcasing the new Brilliant Baubles stamps and dies, the Very Merry stamps and dies, and the latest Mix & Mat die set.

My first card has an inlaid ornament from Brilliant Baubles with a delicate border from the Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs die set.

The small sentiment at the bottom is actually from the Berry Wreaths set by Heather Nichols.

My next card is all about channeling a winter wonderland. πŸ™‚

I used off white corrugated cardstock to add texture and a strip of lace ribbon at the bottom to add a bit of tradition to the card.

Soft Stone paired with White and Silver make this a perfect snowy scene.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Land That I Love Pretty Brackets Dies

It’s time for another fantastic Papertrey Ink release and today I just couldn’t help myself… I went all sorts of patriotic and I had a blast doing it. It’s not often that I get to work with stamp sets like “Land That I Love” by Heather Nichols and it was truly a special treat.

The sentiments and pretty graphics in this set just brought out so much pride in my country and I basically exploded in red, white, and blue haha. I know multiple brave men who serve our country in the military and I am thankful for every man and woman who stand for us.

Ok back to the crafting haha. I replaced all of the little pop outs in my blue die cut with red ones for this card. But I saved that red piece I cut and used it for my next card. These “Mix & Mat: Pretty Brackets” dies are really beautiful.

For my card I used that red piece and turned it into a flag. I layered white stripe die cuts underneath to add even more reminiscent features from our USA flag.

This card might be my favorite. I stamped Soft Stone ink on top of Soft Stone cardstock for a subtle graphic look. The Pretty Brackets card base was created by trimming a typical A2 sized card so it fit perfectly behind the die cut without anything peeking out.

The red and blue bakers twine give the finished touch with that wonderful sentiment.

Hey there! Our family is getting back from a really fun Easter weekend with great friends AND a big ole illness for my youngest. It’s been a crazy week but I am so glad to be here and give you a little more inspiration for this month’s Papertrey release.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink grans garden mix and mat botanical letters

For this first card I die cut the Mix & Mat: Scallops lace die twice from watercolor paper and then watercolored it with a few coordinating inks. I mounted the lace piece into a Soft Stone cardstock card base and stamped the “hugs” sentiment from the Lowercase Botanical Letters stamps. The flowers are stamped from the GORGEOUS Gran’s Garden stamp and die sets.

For my second card I went with a dramatically simple style.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink quoted start again

I really wanted to show off the quote on this Melon Berry Cardstock so I stamped it once in black ink right onto the card base and then again on white cardstock. I cut out the top portion and mounted it directly on top of my card base using extra dimensional adhesive to really pop it up.

Well, that’s it for today! As always, make sure to check out all the other designers wonderful creations on Nichole’s Blog!
