Lucky Scratch

Welcome to Day 3 of Papertrey Ink’s Release Week Countdown! We have some really great things in store for you so make sure you stop by the Papertrey Team Blog to see it all! πŸ˜‰

Today we are introducing one of the most unique sets of dies and stamps designed by the lovely Lizzie Jones… Lucky Scratch.

This gigantic die cuts in the shape of a ticket and comes with at least 4 different stamp sets to coordinate along with it that cover soooo many occasions… St. Patrick’s Day, birthdays, weddings, babies, date nights and gifts for any occasion, etc. You need it? Lucky Scratch has it! So Lizzie designed this awesome set to be used alongside some scratch off paper (which you will be able to find in the PTI store) but I also wanted to show you how you can use these sets without the scratch paper as well.

My first project shows how to create an interactive card using a flip up to show a hidden message underneath… no scratch paper needed. And it still has the standard card base underneath for an added sentiment and message.

And my second project shows a way to hide a message right on the front by adding an extra ticket you can unwrap with a bow.

This card utilized the Big Ticket dies to create the smaller ticket in the center and I stamped right on top of the felt for more texture.

Papertrey Ink // Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2013

Welcome back friends! Today’s PTI celebration is all about 2013 and I am working with the Cupid’s Arrow Stamp Set:

The Vault - Cupid's Arrow Stamp Set

I absolutely love making Valentine’s Day projects and little gifts for my kiddos so today I put together a tag and baggie set for some treats.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Design Team Cupids Arrow Valentine's Day

I started out by creating a few different patterns on cardstock by stamping the hearts and arrows over and over. I also layered a doily on top of one of my tags and trimmed it down for a little added texture. After die cutting the Framed Heart Die from white cardstock, I then trimmed it out of the frame so I only used the “love” portion.

There is something so fun about love and Valentine’s Day sets that just never get old to me. I love how you can use them over and over again from year to year and they always seem brand new and still so fun!

Ok… Can we all just take a second to admire this Quilted Stitched So Knotty Die?! I LOVE this thing… it leaves the most beautiful impression.

by Stephanie Gold for Lil Inker Designs hand made card stamping and die cutting

For the sentiment on this card I stacked about 4 of the “because” Word Die cuts to create a chipboard effect and stamped the “you’re loved” from the Because Stamp Set right underneath the ombre twine. I really wanted to keep the colors simple and really accent the beautiful impressions and cuts these products make. Here are the products used in this card:

And don’t forget to comment on all the blogs in the hop today for a chance to win the ENTIRE December Release FOUND HERE. πŸ™‚ Happy Shopping everyone!!

Thinking of You Pocket Tag

by Stephanie Gold for Lil Inker Designs Tribal Print Anytime Tag Die Greetings and Salutations - Golden Simplicity

Helllllloooooooo my dears! I have what I believe is the cutest pocket tag to share with you today! I made this sweet little thing for my babygirl. She LOVES making little envelopes and “mailboxes” and leaving special drawings and notes for each other. So I put together this tag and added a little pocket to it, to hold a secret note for her.

I started with the Tribal Chic Pattern Papers and one of the Anytime Tag 2 Dies and cut out 2 of them. I sliced one in half and adhered it to a couple pieces of kraft cardstock that are acting as accordion buffers between my two tags. once I was ready to put them together, I added little mini staples as extra embellishments. The sentiment at the top is from the Greetings and Salutations stamp set. (which is on sale right now!!)

Inside the handmade pocket I slipped a little piece of kraft cardstock that I stamped with hearts and a little mini sentiment. Just something extra and fun for her.

Cute right???! You may have noticed my stamping slip up on one of the hearts!! Luckily my sweet daughter is gracious in my stamping mistakes haha. Sometimes, I just need to let the imperfections go!! πŸ™‚

Much love to all of you this weekend! I am grateful for you all! <3
