Throwback Thursday // Hooray Papertrey Ink

Hey all! Welcome back to another fun adventure with Papertrey Ink’s Throwback Thursdays! Today we are revisiting the Hooray stamp set.

I decided to manipulate the streamer stamps into fun swirls and stamp them around the top right corner.

By using a popped up deconstructed sentiment I added a little dimension onto the card. Even more dimension is added when popping the whole Rustic White panel up on top of some kraft.

To finish it off I tied a couple wraps of Rustic Jute Twine around the side and I was finished!

When’s the last time you pulled out Hooray? Are you inspired by today’s DT projects to whip it out and give it a fresh go? Thanks for stopping by! I’ll see you all next week!

Hooray Congratulations Card

goldensimplicity.com

Hey guys! I’m going to throw it back today to a Studio Calico card kit from a while ago called Poet Society. There was this diamond pattern paper that I really liked but I wanted to use just the white and black diamonds and not the rest of the colors. I ended up cutting all of the white ones out and putting them back together in a similar design. I die cut a PTI Gatsby Glamour frame from white cardstock and layered it on top of the diamonds with dimensional adhesive. The “hooray” stamp is from the Poet Society kit as well and turned it into a hooray congratulations card. I stamped it on vellum and floated it above the entire card. I finished the card off with a little bit of color from a piece of turquoise ribbon that I tucked behind the frame.
