Hello friends… ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am just coming back from an amazing vacation back to nature and away from technology (well needed) and feeling refreshed! I already miss the trees and creeks but it’s always a good time to get back into the craft room. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a card for you today that I am slightly obsessed with. I finally caved and bought some of the Wet Paint sets from Papertrey Ink and they did NOT disappoint. I combined them with more of Maggie Holmes Open Book collection for a fun and girly card accented with large florals and gold, glittery leaves. I am one to give away most of the cards I make but I may be holding on to this little one for a while… it just makes me happy! ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you all have been enjoying your summers! I am looking forward to the school year starting in a week or so and hopefully having a little more time making cards. ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy creating!

Happy New Year everyone!!

I have a fun winter card for you today using Studio Calicoโ€™s digital die cuts and fun glitter cardstock from Die Cuts With A View. Letโ€™s get to it! >>

For this card I started out by die cutting the snowflakes out of glitter cardstock on my Silhouette in different sizes. I adhered them to a trimmed piece of white cardstock and added a couple gems in the middle for added sparkle. I stamped the sentiment with smokey gray ink in the bottom left corner and adhered the cardstock to the card base with 3D adhesives. I kept this card nice and simple with a lot of white for a winter wonderland feel. >>

For the inside of the card I used a special Christmas sentiment that I also stamped in smokey gray.

Well thatโ€™s it for today! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a safe New Yearโ€™s Eve!

Happy Holidays!
