Hey everyone! I have another Felicity Jane card to share with you today. I made a little clean and simple encouragement card using a “keep moving forward” stamp from the kit’s stamp set (which is adorable… you should check it out – FJ Susie). I backed the stamped journal card with a thin layer of bright pink cardstock and popped it up with dimensional adhesive onto a dry embossed white cardstock layer. I used Maggie Holmes Open Book embossing folder to impress it. 🙂
These stamps are pretty nice. This was my first time using Felicity Jane stamps and I was pretty impressed. I finished the card off with a thin bright pink ribbon and left it alone. Hoping to get back in the craft room today – ON A SATURDAY…. WHAT???!!!! I am so excited. Crafty time never happens for me on a Saturday. Hoping you all get some crafting out of your systems today too! Much love!!
Hello loves! I have Maggie Holmes baby shower card for you today! This baby shower card might look a little different to you than most shower cards, but if you know me, you will recognize that this card is much more my style. I whipped out the good ole Open Book Collection for this one, including the dies and embossing folder. I accented the die cut frame with a little bit of gold washi tape and kept the whole card pretty simple and sweet.
I truly love the way it turned out. I made this a while ago actually for my sister-in-law’s friend who was having a baby at the time. Doesn’t the seam binding look so whimsical on top?? <insert heart-eyed emoji here> 😉
Have a great day my dears! Much love!
I am so excited that it is finally getting cold around here! We have been able to wear sweaters for a solid few days and still be chilly!!! This is my favorite time of year and I’m getting ready by making table name place cards for fall festivities and Thanksgiving dinner.
I went with a very traditional color scheme and spray painted fall silk leaves with gold paint. I made some of them solid gold and some of them with a faded gold edge. I also had a pack of leaves in my stash with gold glitter accents which I was very quick to jump in and use. 🙂
The base of the place cards is a clothes pin. Some of them I painted dark red, some I made gold and glittery, some are painted plain gold, and some I left alone. The tags are from Papertrey Ink and I cut them short and used the tops.
Cute right? So easy and very festive. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
Hello! Well Halloween has been over for a few days now and I am already in the Christmas spirit! Yes, I am one of those annoying Christmas people who LOVES cheesy holiday movies, puts my decorations up early, and listens to Christmas music until January is over. So naturally, I have a couple of holiday themed cards to show you today!! I will be breaking down the card I posted yesterday as well as one more card I made with the same theme. Now I am typically a mass photo card person around this time of year so any Christmas cards I make, I will be using alongside of hostess gifts, etc. Let’s dive in! Here’s numero uno: >>
To make this card, I first embossed a tag from a past Studio Calico card kit with brown powder and a Hero Arts woodgrain stamp. I attached a paper pieced holly leaf to it with a bit of twine and set them aside. I used dimensional adhesive to attach a trimmed slice of green textured cardstock to the kraft card base (from Papertrey Ink) and adhered the tag and holly on top of it. I finished it off with a red die cut ornament on the left side and I was finished! I love how this card turned out, I think it is so fun! Onto numero dos! >>
This is a SUPER simple card! To make it I embossed gold woodgrain on the entire PTI kraft card base first. I cut and adhered pieces of solar white cardstock (also from Papertrey Ink) and green textured cardstock together and then onto the card base. And finally, I attached the die cut “JOY” on top with dimensional adhesive. Anddddd… done! SO simple, right?
Well, that’s all I have for you today! Have a wonderful week and I will see you next Tuesday! Happy creating!
