Hey friends!!! I am SO SO SO excited to be a part of Ruby’s Bridal Shower BLOG HOP! If you haven’t heard the news, Ruby and Steve got married on Saturday, September 24th (and she looked GORGEOUS!!!). <3

We are celebrating this talented crafty lady in perfect papercraft style!!! Before you hop around, here are a couple words from the beautiful blushing bride: “Steve and I are very excited about starting a new life together. We look forward to beautiful memories in a new home and lots of adventures overall. We are grateful for the support and love from our family and friends. My heart is full, and I truly feel so blessed and loved. :)”

Here is my card!

by Stephanie Gold for Ruby Naz Rubznaz Bridal Blog Hop - Papertrey Ink Rosie Posie stamp set - Right at Home Stamps - Golden Simplicity

I used Papertrey Ink’s Rosie Posie (steps 1 & 2) stamp set and Right At Home’s Script Greetings stamp set. I also tried out a technique from PTI’s Make it Monday with Kay Miller for watercolor stamping. I LOVE how it turned out!! Learning new techniques is so much fun! I accented my card with gold pigment polka dots and gold glitter cardstock. 🙂

Hi all! Today I have 2 cards for you using the positive and the negative parts of the same die cut. For the first card I used a sketch (by Maile Belles, I believe) from an old Clean and Simple class and used the negative part of the die cut. I cut out the word “congrats” with my Silhouette and adhered the negative on it’s side using dimensional adhesive on top of a piece of pattern paper. I tied twine into a bow next to it and embellished with 3 acrylic hearts.

For the next card I used the positive parts of the same die cut. I layered some patterned papers from Echo Park and October Afternoon together and adhered the “congrats” letters on top. I finished the card off with rounded corners, a wrap of twine, and a stamped heart and arrow.

And that’s it! So save your positives and negatives and make a couple cards at the same time using both! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
