Hellooooooooooo lovely Lil Inkies!!! Are you excited for this next release?! Get out your Christmas CDs (do any of you still have CDs?!) and put on some Bing Crosby because we are goin full on Christmas!! You should have arrived here from the sweet Chrissy Larson’s blog. Let’s just dive in!!!
Moody Santa!!!! Haha this little guy is so much fun. The Moody Santa Stamp Set has a few different facial expressions as well as different quotes. And then there is the matching Moody Santa Die. I made the background using the Rustic Christmas Stamp Set and the banner is made from the Tis The Season Stamp Set that I stamped one of the Moody Santa quotes into.
Oh he’s just so cute! Even cranky! Haha.
My next card for today uses a repeating sentiment from the Filled Christmas Tree Stamp Set, one of the stamped trees also from the set, and the Dual Stitched Christmas Tree Die. The front sentiment was also created with the banner from the Tis The Season Stamp Set and the “peace” came from the Rustic Christmas Stamp Set.
I thought making the tree a tag would be super fun!

Hello friends! I have more from my December Daily 2014 album today. 🙂
On the back of Day 6 (transparency with photo in the middle) I put some white feathers tied with a silver ribbon. For Day 7 I have a pocket with a few translucent shapes, photo, number card, and my journaling.
For Day 8 you have the back side of the pocket with translucent shapes, a little photo with mini journaling, number card, and this beautiful gray polka dot tree. I also hole punched and added the pamphlet from the evening event we went to.
After flipping the pamphlet, I made a little photo collage from the same evening, brought together by a little gold glitter star sticker in the center.
For Day 9 I added a little glitter chevron pocket from a Studio Calico kit with my journaling inside. The opposite page has the photos from this day.
Day 10 was a special day for me. I remember writing these words on my notecard to save and document later on. It was such a special moment to me that I decided to use the actual card I wrote in that moment… I sliced it up so it would fit in the 4×3 pocket but those feelings come back every time I see and read this card. 🙂
For Day 11 I have (on the right side) 2 letters for each of my children’s names, journaling, and a number card. For the photos, I decided to make a little 1, 2, 3 picture “flip book” to show the progression of the photos. They were just so cute!! I adhered it on the outside of the pocket for easy flipping.
Hehe, that last picture gets me every time. 🙂 Here are links to my previous posts on December Daily 2014 and some tips & tricks for staying organized and completing your album.

Happy December Documenting everyone!!
Hello! Well Halloween has been over for a few days now and I am already in the Christmas spirit! Yes, I am one of those annoying Christmas people who LOVES cheesy holiday movies, puts my decorations up early, and listens to Christmas music until January is over. So naturally, I have a couple of holiday themed cards to show you today!! I will be breaking down the card I posted yesterday as well as one more card I made with the same theme. Now I am typically a mass photo card person around this time of year so any Christmas cards I make, I will be using alongside of hostess gifts, etc. Let’s dive in! Here’s numero uno: >>
To make this card, I first embossed a tag from a past Studio Calico card kit with brown powder and a Hero Arts woodgrain stamp. I attached a paper pieced holly leaf to it with a bit of twine and set them aside. I used dimensional adhesive to attach a trimmed slice of green textured cardstock to the kraft card base (from Papertrey Ink) and adhered the tag and holly on top of it. I finished it off with a red die cut ornament on the left side and I was finished! I love how this card turned out, I think it is so fun! Onto numero dos! >>
This is a SUPER simple card! To make it I embossed gold woodgrain on the entire PTI kraft card base first. I cut and adhered pieces of solar white cardstock (also from Papertrey Ink) and green textured cardstock together and then onto the card base. And finally, I attached the die cut “JOY” on top with dimensional adhesive. Anddddd… done! SO simple, right?
Well, that’s all I have for you today! Have a wonderful week and I will see you next Tuesday! Happy creating!
Here’s a quickie before tomorrow’s post where I will go into more detail for the card I am about to show you! This card will be entered into a challenge at Papercraft Star! I made this based on Papercraft Star’s tag inspiration and I am all about Christmas coming so I made a Christmas card! Here’s a detailed photo >>
…and don’t forget to come back tomorrow for more information on this card as well as one more fun card I will have for you! See you then!
