Starting off with Beautiful Berries… I stamped the two smaller bunches in Ripe Avocado and Pure Poppy. I also used the thick side of the Big Bitty: Simply Chartreuse stripes to make the gift card cozy.

This pattern paper was especially fun when you open it up and see the small stripes!

My second card mixes a bit of modern with a whole lot of tradition. In keeping with the good ole fashioned Christmas greens and reds, I stamped the flowers and leaves in Pure Poppy and Simply Chartreuse. I made the base from Kraft cardstock that I ran through with the Woodgrain Metal Stencil, and finished the card off with a bit of twine. The special twist on this card is the fact that it’s sliced on two sides creating perfect seamless edges.

Papertrey Ink // Featured Post: Wine Bottle Tag #2

Hey friends! It’s Papertrey’s release week and this one is OH so festive!!!!! I am all about the new wine tag and the latest Keep It Simple: Warm Winter Wishes today.

My first project is a kraft wine bottle tag. I used corrugated cardstock to create this look – which I thought was soooo beautiful next to the white snowflakes. Never be afraid to use specialty textured papers to add a unique something extra! πŸ™‚

For my second project I trimmed the circle off the top of the wine bottle tag and created this adorable card. I layered a sentiment “flag” on the bottom and overlapped it with a vellum piece. The vellum is stitched to the top with black embroidery thread as a fun alternative to trying to hide adhesive when using vellum.

And my last project is a slightly more modern, but still quite traditional, bottle tag. The base is black corrugated cardstock for extra texture, and the front is one of the new Big Bitty papers in Simply Chartreuse. I die cut it on an angle to create the diagonal lines. I used more snowflake dies from the Silver White Winter set and used texture paste on 2 of them to add more of a lifelike snow feeling. And of course I added some glitter for more fun. πŸ™‚

Happy release week all! Much love.

Advent Calendar Extravaganza

Hey everyone!!!! Are you excited about today’s Advent Calendar Extravaganza from Taheera’s Blog?!!! Here is the card I made for Lil Inker Designs (the secret sponsor from today!)

by Stephanie Gold for Lil Inker Designs deer Advent Calendar Extravaganza

I have been DYING to use this Oh Deer Christmas stamp set again (yay!) and I stamped it on some pattern paper this time for a fun new look. I die cut a wreath from the Warm Welcome Die Set onto green striped pattern paper as well and mounted both of those on top of a Christmas tree rectangle. I die cut a couple leaves from the Leaf Love Die Set and attached it all on top of a piece of wood pattern paper that I stamped with sentiments from the All the Christmas You’ll Ever Need 2 Set. I went a little Lil Inker crazy on this card but I just LOVE how it turned out!!! πŸ™‚

Here are a few more details on the Extravaganza! Be sure to join in on the fun!

Much love everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Watercolor Christmas Tags

by Stephanie Gold for Lil Inker Designs christmas tags watercolor

Ok so I can NOT read this little tag without starting to sing Journey in my head… anyone else?! And it’s even better now that it’s related to Christmas! Haha. I created these sweet little tags using non traditional Christmas colors and watercoloring them a bit. I die cut them using the Anytime Tags 2 and the “Believe” using the new Christmas Script Word Dies. And these AWESOME sentiments are from the All the Christmas You’ll Ever Need 2 set.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!

For this card I made a window and propped up my Merry Christmas Border Die. The little car and tree are from the Rustic Christmas Set and they are adhered to the inside of the card.
