Hello all! Welcome to the very first Papertrey Ink release of 2019! We have some truly adorable products to share with you this week and I can’t wait to show you all the projects! So without further ado…
Lizzie Jones is back with her January Corner Adorner alongside Betsy Veldman’s latest in the Shape Shifter series. Today I’ve layered 5 separate Shape Shifter die cuts in multiple colors and accented the corners with the dots from Lizzie’s set.
The Corner Adorner has a multistep dot stamp that overlay each other so you can have a beautiful multicolored confetti-like effect, or simply use the stamps on their own like I did here.
My second project is showcasing Betsy Veldman’s Let’s Fiesta stamp and die set and man is this set ever cute!! Betsy added so many fun elements to this set and it’s packed!! This is a double stamp set (2, 4×6 sheets) and provides plenty of images as well as sentiments.
I decided to keep things simple for today’s card and accent one of my favorite images from this set… that rug!!! I fell in love with that cutie the second I saw it and couldn’t wait to use it as the focal point on a card. The giant sentiment is the perfect compliment for the rug and the subtle impression of Lizzie Jones’ new Pierced Ovals underneath gives a bit of added texture.
That’s all for me today! I will see you back here every day this week for more release fun and projects! Happy Thursday all!
Another month, another Papertrey release! Are you all ready for the next few days filled with incredible paper crafting inspiration?! I sure am 😉 Let’s dive in!
My first project is showcasing Betsy Veldman’s new sets… Geode Layer Dies and Text and Texture Agate stamps. This particular card was so fun to put together because my sweet daughter LOVES collecting “special” rocks. We can’t take this girl anywhere without her finding something cool on the ground and her begging to take it home to wash it. She’s just the cutest.
My color inspiration came from this image I found on Pinterest…
I used little bits from the Shaker and Sprinkles kit to create the crystals in the center. 🙂
My next project is showing off the latest from Lizzie Jones… her monthly Glorious Globes April as well as Sentiment Staples Congratulations.
I took this set in a bit of a different direction this time by turning one of the circles into a floral focal point. It’s accents are created with Circle Scribbles dies and Doodlie Do coordinating dies.
That’s it for me today! I will see you all back here again tomorrow. Much love.
Hello Lil Inker Loves! Today is the beginning of a really fun new release with Lil Inker Designs and we have so much fun in store for you!! Before I get started I wanted to share that this will be a bittersweet release, for it will be my last with LID. 🙁 I have had nothing but wonderful times on this incredible team and it has been such an honor to work with Laura. So I am hoping to send myself off with a bang of awesome projects for you all and I am ready to get started!!
My first card today uses the new Blossoms and Banners stamps and dies. I used the die to cut off just the bottom portion of my banner and trimmed the sides to keep the top in tact. The bottom of my card is made with the Diamond Chevron Cover Up Die. I am obsessed with each of these products individually but even more so together!! 🙂
Howdy howdy! It’s Day 2!! You should have arrived here from the beautiful Angel Rivera’s Blog. If you get lost, stop back at the Lil Inker Blog to start at the beginning. 🙂
Ok, how cool are these Fringe Scallop Circle Dies?! I really wanted to accent how cool they are so I made a little wreath with contrasting colors and nestled the kraft one down a bit underneath the white. That sweet birdie, the sentiment, and the leaves are all from The Little Things Stamp and Die Sets.
My second card uses the new Happy Birthday Border Die for a sentiment. I decided to cut it up a bit and do something a little different with it. 🙂 This is actually one of my favorite dies. It is surprisingly versatile. I will show you some other ideas with this die in the next coming weeks! The flowers were made with the incredible Doodled Daisies Dies & Stamp Sets and I accented the card with another Fringe Scalloped Circle. 🙂
Alright people! You know the drill! 😉 Leave a comment on every blog along the hop for your chance to win some Lil Inker goodness! Your next stop is the magnificent Joy Taylor’s Blog! Enjoy!!
