These two little dudes are so cool man!!! Aren’t they cute?? I’ve named them Eugene and Larry. Not sure why. They just look like a hipster Eugene and nerdy cool Larry lol.

I decided to leave the stamps (from the Bunny Buddies Die Stamp Bundle) uncolored for these tags and let the flowers (from the Sweet Celebration Stamps and Dies) and tags behind them light them up. 🙂

My second project really showcases the heart in the Sweet Celebration Set. 🙂

I die cut 3 of the hearts from the die set in different blues and stapled them onto my card base. The sentiment is created using a combination of the Celebrate Word Die and the Sweet Celebration Stamps and Die Sets.

Yayyyy!! It’s Lil Inker release time again!!!! And this one is one of my faves. You should have arrived here from the beautiful Lisa Henke’s blog. Here is my first project!

by Stephanie Gold for Lil Inker Designs Hello Beautiful Warm Welcome Sassy Script Golden Simplicity

For this card I used the Hello Beautiful Stamps to create a lovely floral outline which I messy watercolored. I layered the sentiment over top (also from the Hello Beautiful set) and tucked in a Fanfare Scalloped Border Die (previously released). Finished it off with some twine and that’s it!

For my next card I used the same floral outline stamps but repeated them to cover the entire card. I trimmed off the bottom using a Fringe Scalloped Border Builder Die and then created the sentiment using the new Sassy Script Alpha Stamps.

Hello, hello! I forgot to post this yesterday! I needed both a masculine and a feminine card so I made these two at the same time. All I did was cut stripes of pattern paper (solids would work too) and adhered them to a card base. I die cut the happy sentiment and adhered it with glue dots above the stamped “birthday” banner which was adhered with dimensional adhesive. The cards were finished off with a piece of ribbon tied in a knot!

The only difference between the two in how I made them, was that I sliced the edges of the feminine card so the stripes were all even… I should have done this with both because the uneven stripes on the card above drive me crazy! Haha. Unfortunately my cutting capabilities are not great for making perfect same sized rectangles every time. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!! 🙂

Happy 2014!! I hope everyone’s start to the new year has been a great one! I am starting the year off fresh by thinking about birthdays, so today I have a few birthday cards for you mainly using one stamp set from Studio Calico’s card kit. Let’s get to it! >>

For this card I started off by stamping the candles on white cardstock and using gold glitter to accent the flames. I topped the whole of the candles off with glossy accents and set them aside to dry. Next, I trimmed a piece of lavender cardstock and stamped the sentiment in the upper right corner. I added the strip of gold striped washi tape and used dimensional adhesive to adhere the whole strip to the card base. I placed a short strip of gold glitter tape underneath and attached my candles to the left side of my lavender cardstock strip at the very end. For the inside of the card I used another sentiment from the same stamp set in black.

I had a CRAZY difficult time photographing the color of the sentiment on this card so please forgive me. To make this one I started off by stamping a pattern on the bottom of a kraft cardstock base and then rounding the bottom corners. I adhered one of these lovely pink flowers centered in the stamped pattern. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and adhered it with dimensional adhesive and finished the card off with some of these fun white stars. For the inside of the card I stamped candles in color and the sentiment on top in smokey grey.

For the last card I started off by making a stamped candle border around the outside edges and adhering a piece of white cardstock on top. I stamped a separate set of candles to another piece of white cardstock, cut them out and adhered them to the card. I stamped the sentiment, trimmed, and adhered it on top of the candles. For the inside of the card I used two sentiments put together from a separate stamp set.

And that’s it for today! Be sure to check out Studio Calico’s latest kit and I’ll see you next time. 🙂
