Welcome welcome! Today for Papertrey Ink’s release we are talking all about the second edition of Jennifer Campbell’s gorgeous floral collection, Botanical Bounty 2.
Jennifer has done it again and made even more beautiful flowers. For this rainbow card I used some additional ink on a paintbrush and made some outlines around the edges for a more distinct detail.
And who doesn’t love a good rainbow???
A good tip for this technique is to use an ink color two shades darker than your flower for the outline color.
You all know I am all about the light and airy cards. For this one I used my favorite technique of spraying the ink on the stamp before pressing it to the paper. It gives such a soft look and blends ink colors seamlessly.
For a fun added detail, I punched small holes around the bottom of my floral bunch and tied twine through them. I thought it turned out so cute!
That pattern strip in the background is the newest Bitty Big, Tropical Teal.
For my final project I really want to show off all the stamps together. I used a wholeeeeee bunch of different ones from the set in coordinating colors to create this beautiful background.
The tag is made from Harvest Gold Bitty Big and the background color is in Berry Sorbet. It adds such a nice pop of color for a truly springy card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed everything I created today! Much love all.

Welcome to Day 3 of Papertrey Ink’s Release Week Countdown! We have some really great things in store for you so make sure you stop by the Papertrey Team Blog to see it all! 😉
Today we are introducing one of the most unique sets of dies and stamps designed by the lovely Lizzie Jones… Lucky Scratch.
This gigantic die cuts in the shape of a ticket and comes with at least 4 different stamp sets to coordinate along with it that cover soooo many occasions… St. Patrick’s Day, birthdays, weddings, babies, date nights and gifts for any occasion, etc. You need it? Lucky Scratch has it! So Lizzie designed this awesome set to be used alongside some scratch off paper (which you will be able to find in the PTI store) but I also wanted to show you how you can use these sets without the scratch paper as well.
My first project shows how to create an interactive card using a flip up to show a hidden message underneath… no scratch paper needed. And it still has the standard card base underneath for an added sentiment and message.
And my second project shows a way to hide a message right on the front by adding an extra ticket you can unwrap with a bow.
This card utilized the Big Ticket dies to create the smaller ticket in the center and I stamped right on top of the felt for more texture.
Be sure to check us out all week for more info on the upcoming January release which is live on the Papertrey web site January 15th at 10PM ET.
And join Lizzie, Julie and I on our FB Release Party Live right before on the 15th at 9PM ET. Much love all!
