Its the last day of our Papertrey Inspiration Explosion and today we are showcasing the super fun Hey Stacks and the oh so useful Stencil Basics: Dots set. Starting off with Hey Stacks!!!

I created a little rainbow of stripes (or blocks I suppose) and added in subtle numbers in the same color… I was sort going for that whole rotating clock/time thing. Do you know what I am talking about?? Anyway, I love how it turned out and can’t wait to give this card away. I have quite a few friends turning 30 right about now so it’s the perfect occasion. πŸ™‚

For my second card, I really wanted to show off both the large dotted stencil and the small dotted stencil.

For the larger dots I went with a white texture paste and for the smaller dots, I ink blended them onto a tag. At first I thought both dots might be too much on one card but I was WRONGGGGG! They are perfect. πŸ™‚

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink August 2017 Wicked Elixir

I really wanted a clean and simple card using this set that just showcased the incredible images. I am in love with the little labels too!!! How cute are they?! My unique twine wrap (LOL) was inspired by a sort of mummy wrap/caution tape sort of thing… not sure what I was going for exactly but I really LOVE how it turned out!!! Sometimes it pays to just give things a go! πŸ™‚

That’s right!!! More fun ideas for you to try once your August Papertrey goodies are delivered!! Anyone still on the fence with an order? I’d be happy to answer any questions you have. πŸ™‚ Let’s dig in!

So my first card is focusing on the new Autumn Scarecrow stamps and dies. I’ve decided to forego the scarecrow for this card and simply show off the fall pumpkins and foliage. I used the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane Collection for a couple pattern papers to help me accent the new Big Bitty: True Black cardstock at the top of the card.

And to add a bit more of a Halloween/Autumn feel, I used the new Mix & Mat: Pinked Edges die as a way to give the bottom of this card a fun design detail.

My second card is all sorts of country feeling and it’s reminding me of my days growing up in Georgia. πŸ™‚

The mixture of the light blue bow and the corn felt almost like a county fair or fall festival to me. All the happy feels… πŸ™‚
