My first project shows how you can use some of the accent lines from Stitch In Time to create fun corners and focal points.

My second project is a more clean and simple design showcasing the lovely “throw kindness around like confetti” sentiment.

And finally, my third project really shows off the largest frame you can make with the Stitch In Time set.

Dream, Fly, Soar!

Hey again! Today we are releasing the latest from Rebecca Luminarias, a collection of stamps and dies called Dream, Fly, Soar!

The sentiment of this card inspired my color scheme… I wanted it to feel very “dreamy.” 🙂 The colors used in order are Lavender Moon, Aqua Mist, Smokey Shadow (sentiment), and Harvest Gold. Using the felt for one of the layers and adding the black and white sentiment stamped die cut adds so much texture and interest to your card.

Butterfly Blooms + A Bit More + Big Apple + School Days + Great Teachers

Hey everyone! Welcome back to Day 2 of Papertrey Ink’s release week countdown! Today we have a tonnnn of items releasing with gorgeous butterflies and all things school! Let’s get to the projects.

Starting off with Butterfly Blooms and A Bit More: Butterfly Blooms! I created a tri-color card with butterflies galore! I used Tropical Teal, Green Parakeet, and Pale Peony. A few splashes of black paint and some white thread finished it off. 🙂

My next card shows off how huge this apple die really is. I cut it from Bitty Big: Soft Stone and patterned vellum and stapled them together at the top. A couple of the scalloped tags from last month’s release added some fun along with the twine wrap to tie it all together!

Vogue Vases + Simple Stems + Ink It In

Hey all! I would like to preface this post with the fact that my camera was NOT working the day I took pics for this post and unfortunately I couldn’t get it resolved in time to retake them before this post. So I apologize for the photos!! I did however manage to get it fixed before I had to finish the rest of my projects during the release so these are the only ones effected. Thanks so much for your understanding! Xo.

Hellooooooooo! And welcome to the March Release Countdown for Papertrey Ink! Today we are introducing Vogue Vases, Simple Stems, as well as an adorable new collection called Ink It In. 🙂

I stamped four different vases on the top of my card panel and die cut one vase to be stamped inlayed underneath. I used one tiny little stem and flower to be inlayed as well and used my sentiments to create a “table” of sorts for them all to sit on. My color scheme was Ocean Tides, Enchanted Evening, Scarlett Jewel, Melon Berry, and Berry Sorbet.

The next project I have to show you used the different sets from the Ink It In collection by Lexi Daly.

This set is DARLING and instantly became a favorite of mine. Honestly anything with notepads on it is a keeper for me. 😉 The color scheme for this card is Tropical Teal, Raspberry Fizz, and Green Parakeet.

Thanks for stopping by!! I’ll be back all this week with plenty more inspiration for you!!

Garden of Faith + Seasonal Borders: Spring

Welcome to the last day of Papertrey Ink’s 11th Anniversary release countdown! Today my featured post is all about Betsy Veldman’s Garden of Faith and Seasonal Borders: Spring stamp sets.

My first project shows off a way to use the florals in the border set without using them as a border.

By spritzing your inked stamps you get a watercolor effect with more defined lines. I like to mix multiple ink colors together before spritzing for added interest.

This is actually my favorite card from this release. 🙂

My second project shows off those borders! I stamped 4 of them and made an entire frame for my card which added so much that I barely needed to put anything other than my sentiment in the center.

And my final project uses the florals as an accent.

I also stamped a little more than half of my card base with some of the leaf designs from Garden of Faith for a little something extra.
