Hello Papertrey loving friends! Today is my turn for a featured post and I am showcasing the Fun Lovin stamps and dies as well as the Matchbook die collection.

These matchbook dies are the PERFECT Valentine’s size. They have so many coordinating options too that you could seriously create completely different looks each time you made one.

I love the idea of adding it to the front of a card too for a little something special. 🙂

For a much more masculine Valentine, I created a large red stripe in the top panel of my card by repeat sentiment stamping. I die cut the center and created a window and stamped the big, bold, black sunglasses underneath.

And for my last project, I went bright and sunny with the color combination.

To create the chevron pattern, I stamped the ice cream cone bottom over and over. The tone on tone hearts add a subtle extra bit of texture and the pink hearts pop off the background.

Multiple colors of twine add the finishing touch.

Here’s a better look at the stencils ^^^ I added a flower from Farmers Market and stamped the little bee right on top. The plaid strip is from the new Bitty Big: Kraft.

Hello friends! Today is Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown! How did you like yesterday’s products/projects? Amazing right?! Let’s get on to today…

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink

Starting off with You Have My Heart by Heather Nichols. This Valentine’s themed set is sure to be an instant favorite. The stamps give you everything you need for a beautiful card and the Envelope Die is the icing on the cake when making little Valentine’s.

My second project is showcasing Perfect Fit by Lizzie Jones and Ways To Say: I Love You from Heather Nichols.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink

I created these two clean and simple cards using the stamps and die from Perfect Fit. The card on the left is a one layer, completely flat card, and the one on the right is flat with the exception of the center puzzle piece being popped up.

Project numero uno is a lovely light and airy hugs card. 🙂 The background is made with the latest Bitty Big series in Soft Stone (YASSSSS!). These new florals by Dawn McVey may be my favorite floral stamps EVERRRRRR. They are called Farmers Market Florals and I’m friggin obsessed.

The new Mix & Mat: Hearts is as lovely as you would imagine it to be. It’s perfect for Valentine’s, anniversaries, weddings, or even just fun feminine cards. I love a good heart and the addition of the arrows has my heart fluttering. 🙂

The sentiments are created with two new sets, Huge Sentiments and Everyday Affection. You want these. You need these. You will USE these.

My second project is more of those florals (because… FLORALS people!!) and those Huge Sentiment Dies.

I created a soft background using neutrals with the Farmers Market stamps and then accented them with a larger floral in Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal. The sentiment is a two layer die in Soft Stone and Hawaiian Shores.

Hey loves! Happy December! How are you all liking the new Papertrey Team Blog so far? I know there has been a lot of change going on lately, but rest assured that everyone behind the scenes is working together to make sure everything continues on smoothly for you. Let’s get into today’s projects.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Traveler's Journal Notebook

We are working with Journal Covers today and I have two projects to share very different ways of using them. To start off I put together this felt Cover Pocket by die cutting the cover and hand sewing the two sides. I have an advent tag craft inside and they easily slip in and out of this fun pocket.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Traveler's Journal Notebook

Using the felt gives a truly homey touch and keeps it bendable enough to make the advent tags go in and out very easily.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Traveler's Journal Notebook

My second project uses pattern paper to create a traditional journal cover. I really wanted a more structured feel to it though so I added a second layer of white cardstock along the inside to keep it nice and sturdy.

by Stephanie Gold for Papertrey Ink Traveler's Journal Notebook

There won’t be any bends or tears with this cover and it was so easy to make. Being able to use a piece of pattern paper to create your own journal cover is one of my favorite things about these sets.
