It’s the last day of the April New Release from Lil Inker Designs! You should have arrived here from Sarah Jay’s Blog. I have two more cards for you today and I really hope you have enjoyed the entire release!!

I created this card by first die cutting the smallest Silly Stitched Square and trimming off the loop. I also cut a medium square and then cut the center out to place the smallest square, equal level, directly inside.

The floral outline around the sweet owls is from Wreath of Roses. πŸ™‚

So I am slightly obsessed with my second card. I mixed pattern papers and die cut them all with the new Chevron Border Die and made my sentiment and bold accent with the new Apple Shaker Dies and Apple of My Eye stamp set. (LOVE THESE!!!!)

Here is a quick look at the new products I used today:

Hehehe!!! I can’t get over the new Hootie Patootie stamp set!!! How cute are these owls?! (I also can’t stop saying Hootie Patootie haha). To create this card I started by stamping and coloring in that sweet little owl and then die cutting it with it’s Coordinating Dies. I mounted her on top of the smallest of the Silly Stitched Squares (I trimmed off the loop portion) and stamped the Grad Class sentiment on the side.

I fussy cut the hat for the owl out of a separate sheet of paper. πŸ™‚ The background stamping was created using the raindrops from the Hootie Patootie stamp set and a sentiment from the Wreath of Roses stamp set.

My second card is a clean and simple design really showing off the beauty in these new Pretty Painted Alphabet Stamps. (I truly think these might be my favorite alpha stamps… they are SO easy to stamp!). I repeatedly stamped the letters in a light color and then popped up the color versions after cutting them with their Coordinating Dies. I love this card πŸ™‚

Welcome to the April New Release from Lil Inker Designs! Today is Day 1 and we have some really adorable products to show off for you these next 3 days! You should have arrived here from the uber talented Sarah Jay’s Blog. πŸ™‚ Let’s jump into projects!

by Stephanie Gold for Lil Inker Designs Stephanie_WM_best blooms, pretty painted alphabet, stitched quatrafoil CLOSE

My first card uses the new Stitched Quatrafoil Cover Up Die to create some background texture. I made a mini tag using one of the dies from the Silly Stitched Squares collection and some of the beautiful flowers from the Best Blooms stamp set. To build the sentiment I used the ADORABLE Pretty Painted Alphabet stamps – I love these!! πŸ™‚

My second card shows off the big floral wreath in the new Wreath of Roses set. I chose not to color it in, but instead accent it with more of the Best Blooms flowers which I die cut with their Coordinating Dies.

Hey friends! I am blog hoppin today with CardMaker Magazine and some lovely designers from Grafix Arts to show off some cool products that I honestly have never worked with before! Here is a link to Grafix… they are a really cool company and I truly enjoyed working with their vellum and Artist-Tac. πŸ™‚

I decided to make a card using the vellum front and center. I used Lil Inker Designs Sweet Celebration Stamps and Dies to stamp in white on top of the vellum and I used the super easy and fun Artist-Tac to adhere the die cut heart! I actually also used it to adhere the Center Point Chevron Background Die too… Check out how cool this stuff is:

Using the Artist-Tac definitely saved me some time and tedious work. I really liked it!

I’m working with the Rustic Spring Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set today and I am lovin all the little critters in this release! For today’s project I have this sweet serene looking Bun Bun. I made the sentiment by repeat stamping the “happy” on the background layer and then die cutting the “Easter” from the Brush Script Spring Word Dies. I kept the card pretty simple and used simple textures and dimensions to add interest. πŸ™‚
