Hello again! Today is the last day of what I lovingly call Papertrey’s “Inspiration Week” and we are talking about the new Cloche Quarters: Winter Fillers stamp set in addition to the Pen & Ink: Christmas set.

For the Cloche Winter Fillers I immediately fell in love with these adorable ornaments!! They are soooooo cute!! I went with a blue/green color combination and stacked them high in a simple cloche case on a kraft background. Aren’t they beautiful?

Now onto the Pen & Ink: Christmas set which was majorly delayed (but Lizzie and I happened to snag a couple sample sets while we were filming the release party) so there probably won’t be much on these today. However, they are as beautiful as ever and I will forever buy anything that’s created in this font!! 🙂

I went with a festive, layered look for this card. The sentiment is stamped on vellum and accented with some of the papers from the Wonderland kit. I still managed to keep things airy even with the bold red in the flowers and ribbon and I just love how it turned out!

And of course that birch paper will always have a place in my heart so I had to put it right on top. 🙂

Thank you all so very much for joining me today!! I hope you have loved this release!! Please bear with us all as we continue to fine tune the release parties because they are going to be so much fun once we have… you know… sound and picture. 😉

Much love friends! Until next time…

Hey again!! Today I am focusing on the latest To The Point Edgers 2 Dies! I made this simple card by die cutting a little edger strip and layered it on the bottom of a white cardstock panel that was die cut with the same edger die.

The sentiment is from the new Pen & Ink stamp set and the bottom pattern paper is the new Dark Indigo Bitty Big. 🙂 I also created a fun little winter embellishment by cutting a Silver White Winter die from Aqua Mist felt and layering a beaded wire wrapped in white string (from the Wonderland trimmings kit).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We will be back again tomorrow with one more post of inspiration from this month’s release! See you then!

Welcome to another fun version of Papertrey Ink’s Throwback Thursdays! Today we are revisiting the Fair Isle Motifs stamp set.

I really wanted to use light airy colors so I decided on a combination of Ocean Tides, Aqua Mist, and Lemon Tart. By starting with a center point and stamping equally 4 times around each “corner” you create a fun pattern with a central focal point.

Since my pattern colors are subdued, I went with a big bold sentiment in the center. The card is finished off with a thin bit of natural twine.

Thank you so much for joining me today! Do you have this set? What have you created with it lately??

Eeeeeeeeek!!! I have been waiting for today! I finally get to show you this card that I made a week ago using Lizzie’s new Dash Away All set. Now I must preface this card with the fact that it’s officially my favorite from this release, which typically means its one of the least favorites from everyone else haha. I don’t know why, it just always works out that way! It cracks me up. So here it is:

So I went veryyyyy clean and simple with this design. I began by die cutting two deer, one from white cardstock and one from True Black cardstock – I wanted a very stark difference. Next I stamped the “believe” all over the white deer in black ink.

Once dry I adhered them together offset and used dimensional adhesive to place him on the white card base. And of course a little red bead on the nose for some added whimsy and a mini color pop. 🙂 I’m obsessed.

To show off the gorgeousness (totally a word!) of the intricate snowflakes in the latest Mix & Mat dies, I die cut them from the birch pattern paper from the Wonderland kit and layered it on top of a panel of Smokey Shadow cardstock.

Using a sentiment from the newest Travelers Journal: December stamp set, I accented the top of the card with the “let it snow” saying – perfect alongside those snowflakes. 🙂

Helloooooo! Today I have a card for you that focuses on the newest Quoted set: A Little Bit More. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this quote, it’s from the end of The Grinch by Dr. Suess. (Lots of Jim Carrey flashbacks are happening in my mind right now.)

So I decided to show you a way to use only half of the sentiment on a clean and simple card. To add subtle interest I stamped “joyeux noel” repeatedly in Aqua Mist on a diagonal along with some Ocean Tides dotted lines (which are from the Quoted set). This gave the perfect backdrop for our big bold sentiment.

And finally for a little added Suess-iness… I made a funny little Whoville looking flower from one of the items in the Wonderland Trimmings Kit. I love that it kept the colors light but still gave the card some quirk. 🙂

Thanks again for stopping by! I will see you back here again tomorrow for *double* the fun. 🙂
