Starting off with Winter Window, Lizzie did such an incredible job designing this set. There are so many options for making the window festive, warm and inviting, and even nice and chilly!

And a little scenery for looking out the window? She really thought of everything.

Glorious Globes: October + Words to Live By: Peace

Hey all! Today I am showing off this month’s Glorious Globes set in Lizzie Jones’ series.

I decided to keep this card muted in color and kept the main focus on the sentiment from Betsy Veldman’s Words to Live By: Peace.

Warm & Fuzzy + Sentiment Staples: Season’s Greetings + Corner Adorner: October + Shape Shifters: Square 3

Welcome to day 2 of Papertrey Ink’s October release!! Today’s products are some of my favorite series that are released each month and I hope I show you why!

Starting off with Corner Adorner: October which has quickly become one of my all time favorite series. This month has a beautiful bow with bells and the sweet and simple “Deck the halls” sentiment.

I created a block in the background of my card using the Sentiment Staples set. The card is finished off with a few black paint splatters.

Warm and Fuzzy is the sweet and cozy stamp set that’s out this month and it comes with many options for different socks and mittens you can put together. I paired mine with the embossing die from Betsy’s Shape Shifters Square 3 this month which I used to create an argyle pattern.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow!

I stamped the large “joy” on the inside of my card and accented the front with more images from the set.

And for my last project I created a gift card holder. I repeatedly stamped “joy” all over my base and used pattern paper and ribbons to finish it off.

Fairy Tale Christmas // Papertrey Ink Christmas Kit

Hey all! It’s officially that time of year when we all get giddy over the release of Betsy’s Christmas kit! This years is so sweet and homey it’s something you will love to create with and definitely love to giveaway. Let’s go ahead and check out some of the projects.

Starting off with my favorite type of creation… a card! I used a mixture of the pattern papers, stamps and dies to create all of the different elements on this card. The snow the kids are stepping on is made from tiny sparkly beads which is also included in the kit!

I decided to emboss the Santa sleigh in glittered gold for a whimsical feel and kept my color pattern simple and airy.

The penguins and florals are actually die cut from pre printed papers so if you are in a hurry, you can make something special in a flash, or do as I did here and combine them with stamped pieces as well.

My second projects comes in the form of a tag.

This tag is created using multiple dies from the kit cutting whites, soft stones, and golds. The paste on the tag is actually Nuvo gold mousse which is also included!!

I adhered faux snow around the circular cutout for a fun and fluffy touch.

My final project is a light up ornament!

Betsy cleverly designed these kits to have multiple interactive elements that you can combine or use separately. In this ornament I used the baubles to create a fun shaker center that also had a clear background so you can light the lights up behind it as well.

The deer. The squirrel. The mushroom. Gahhhhhh

I used some of the red ribbon to create the ornament holder and it fit perfectly into the box so it’s neat and tidy.

The kit comes with multiple shaker inserts (faux snow, sequins, beads, etc) and even those adorable little door knockers so your fairy tale books have the perfect openings. Pair them with the included magnets for an easy open, yet very secure, box.

Thank you all SO much for stopping by. I hope all of the projects shared today have gotten your creative juices ready and make you want to join in on all of the Fairy Tale Christmas fun!

Kits go live on the web site October 1st at 10PM ET! Happy shopping!
